Indus Valley Pot - Painted Buff Ware with linear designs and 3 suspension holes near the rim. Nal Phase, circa 3,300 - 3,000 BC Mehrgarh Culture, PAKISTAN

Provenance: From the Archaeological dig of 1960 and purchased from a private collection via antiquities auction house.
Age: (c) 5,000+ years old
Size: 80mm diameter
Condition: Some minor chipping to the rim, earth accretions evident, overall good condition.




Buddhist Conch Ornament Encased in Silver work, gold and semi precious stones, circa 1700 AD, Mustang, NEPAL

Provenance: Purchased from the original owner in Mustang in 1930's via a German expedition to Nepal. The collection was recently broken up and this was purchased from an antiquities auction in Germany.

Condition: Excellent




Bactrian Pendant Ornament fashioned from a conch shell. Circa 3,500-4,000 BC, Turkmenistan, Central Asia

Provenance: Archaeological find originally from the BMAC (Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex). Purchased from a private collection.
Age: (c) 5,000 - 6,000 years old - but probably much older as it would have been traded and re-traded in from people living near the sea.
Size: 63mm
Condition: Excellent patination, drill holes are ancient and worn with their own patina of use.


Greek Hellenistic Black Painted Pottery Dish circa 300 BC, CYPRUS

Provenance: Archaeological dig find, purchased by the original owner  from the site, Southern Cyprus circa 1925. Ex. German Collection.
Age: (c) 2,300 years old
Size: approx. 12.5 cm across
Condition: Good condition




Clay Cooking Pot possibly Markham Valley Area, circa 1960's Papua New Guinea

Provenance: Collected in the 1960's in Papua New Guinea and Purchased ex. Paul Camilleri collection

Condition: Excellent with bottom burn marks.


Neolithic Stone Arrowhead circa 3,500 BC, Over Wallop, Hampshire, ENGLAND

Provenance: Surface find in 1950, Over Wallop Hampshire and purchased from a  private collection. 
Age: (c) 3,500 years old
Size: 5cm
Condition: Excellent with slightly blunt tip.



Mousterian Industries Levallois Retouched Double Scrapper Middle Palaeolithic circa 80,000 BC FRANCE


Provenance: Surface find from Oise, France and purchased via break up of a huge pre - 1930's collection, France
Age: (c) 80,000 years old
Size: 10-12cm
Condition: Excellent with mineral deposits, embedded debris and hinge patination



This is an exquisit example of a Mousterian Industries Levallois Re-Touched Double Scrapper which the original owner...a Neanderthal (Homo Neanderthalis) man or woman retouched to keep the edges keen.

The artifact has a typical Mousterian creamy white patina with hinge patination, mineral desposits and ground debris. It is a perfect specimen of the industry. It is a surface find from Oise, France.
